You paste the link, and the tool reads the original video file from TikTok's servers and hands it straight to you. How to download TikTok videos

Downloading TikTok videos without the watermark
Every TikTok is stored more than once. There is the version the app hands you when you tap save, which has the logo and the creator's username burned into the picture and moving around the frame, and there is the version the player streams while you watch, which has none of that. This TikTok video downloader reads the second one, so the file you end up with is clean.

Tracking parameters that the share sheet adds, like is_from_webapp and sender_device, get stripped automatically. You can also paste the entire share message with its surrounding text and the link will still be found.

Does it remove the TikTok watermark?
It does not erase anything from the picture, which would soften the image. It fetches the copy TikTok stores without a watermark in the first place, so the result is clean and untouched. If a post only offers a watermarked file, we say so rather than pretending otherwise.
Can I download just the sound?
Yes. When TikTok exposes the track behind a post, a separate button saves it as an MP3. That is handy for grabbing a trending sound to use in your own edit.
Do photo posts and slideshows work?
Not yet. Photo posts hold a set of images rather than a single video file, so there is no MP4 to hand back. If you paste one, the tool tells you that is what it found instead of failing silently.
Can I download from private accounts?
No. Only public posts can be resolved. We never log into TikTok on your behalf, so anything that needs an account stays out of reach, and we keep it that way on purpose.
Is it legal to download TikTok videos?
Saving your own posts, or content you have permission to use, is fine. The videos belong to the creators who made them, so do not repost or sell someone else's work without asking. This tool is built for backups, offline viewing and personal reference.
Will the creator know I saved their video?
No. Downloading happens entirely outside TikTok, so nothing is logged against your account and no notification is sent. We are not signed in to TikTok at all.
Do you keep my links or my videos?
No. Nothing you paste is stored and no copy of the file is kept. The video streams from TikTok through to your device and then it is gone.
Why did my link fail?
Usually because the post is private, it was deleted, or the account was taken down. Very occasionally TikTok blocks requests from the region our server sits in, and when that happens the tool says so directly rather than blaming your link.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It runs in any browser on Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows, and there is no app to install. On iPhone, Safari saves the file into the Files app and you can move it to Photos from there.
